The video above is a quick summary of the most common conventions we have noticed within the 20 pop music videos we have analysed in each of the four technical elements. These conventions are the ones that we are most likely to incorporate into our own music video as its what the audience recognises as being from the pop genre. In the video I discuss the camerawork, Rob talks about the editing, Josh considers the mise en scene and finally Mohsin reflects on the sound. I edited the video on iMovie after it was filmed using a Canon camcorder and a tripod.
